Kiawah and Seabrook Island: |
Kiawah and Seabrook Islands are barrier islands south of Johns Island. Both are resort islands, but offer single-family homes for full time residents in addition to a large selection of condos/villas/cottages starting around $300,000. The oceanfront homes can be in the multi-millions. The Resort on Kiawah Island, was recently listed among the top “50 Golf Resorts Worldwide,” according to Conde and Nast Traveler. Seabrook Island is owned by its residents and is completely private. It is located on the banks of the Edisto River and Atlantic Ocean; it is just 35 minutes from downtown Charleston.
