 Summerville: is a beautiful town located in Dorchester County that posses natural beauty and a rare sense of community. It has been dubbed “Flower town in the Pines” since the early 1900’s as tourist have flocked there during early spring to enjoy millions of spring blossoms, particularly azaleas, in private and public gardens, including the mid-town Azalea Park. Summerville also holds an annual Flowertown Festival which attracts more than 200,000 visitors and residents. It is just one of the small town traditions that is upheld. Today the population is just over 33,000 and is one of the hottest housing areas in the region. It boasts both charming historic homes and brand new developments
