We cannot say enough good things about David! Our family moved from Seattle to Charleston and he made what could be extremely stressful process, a lot of fun. We had very little notice to make a trip to to Charleston to look for a house. David was able to work with our schedule to ensure we felt confident and educated that our decision was the right one for us. We decided to build a home and from the very start David was beside us making sure we understood the processes, scheduling and necessary inspections. For the next 5 months while we were 3,000 miles away, David played a huge role in ensuring our house was progressing as planned and helping us overcome any issues to ensure we closed on time. As a former home builder, David knows what to look for in homes whether they are new builds or existing homes. As we viewed the multiple homes in the area before making our decision, David would walk us through each house and show us his concerns with each house. His attention to detail in the home-building process was something we didn’t expect but greatly appreciated, especially as first time homebuyers. As a testament to David’s professionalism and dedication, he also provided recommendations for a loan officer, home insurance, and inspectors. Every person he recommended was very professional and provided competitive services. The home inspector caught a major code violation that was missed by both the builder and city inspector. Our builder even commented on what a great realtor he was! David went above and beyond to advocate for our family’s wishes and make sure we weren’t just getting a pretty house, but a home we could envision raising our son in. As we drove away from closing on the home, my wife commented that if there was one thing we did right it was hiring David and his team. If I had to go back and do this over again, my first and only call would be to David again. If you are relocating to Charleston or already in the area, look no further than David Kent - HE IS THE BEST!

Market Update 4/24/20 - 4/30/20

Amazingly, our real estate market here in Charleston went about business as usual. We were considered an essential business because people have to have shelter. Of course, we expected a huge slow down in demand. But we didn’t see it.
