Rivertowne

Rivertowne located off of highway 41 in Mount Pleasant is situated along the Wando River and Horlbeck Creek, providing residents with stunning waterfront views and access to various water activities such as boating, fishing, and kayaking. Many homes in Rivertowne offer private docks or are located within walking or a golf cart ride of community docks.

Made up of mostly custom built single family homes, many properties feature upscale finishes and modern southern designs, with some offering views of the river or golf course. The Rivertowne Country Club subsection is spread over 180 acres and features an Arnold Palmer Signature golf course, which attracts golf enthusiasts from the area. This 200 acre course was the site for the 2007 LPGATour. In addition to golf, the country club offers amenities such as tennis courts, a swimming pool, and a clubhouse with dining options, creating a vibrant social atmosphere within the neighborhood. In the Rivertowne on the Wando section, you’ll find an additional swimming pool, more tennis courts, as well as 3 separate community docks and a cute pavilion. Rivertowne on the Wando spreads over 600 acres has an even more “small town” feel with white picket fences and a quant post office within the subsection. Most of the homes in Rivertowne were built in the mid 1990s to mid 2000s with some newer homes sprinkled through out the community.
